The Third Annual Black History Month Celebration was held on Sunday, February 6, 2005, in the Ruth S. Harley University Center.

Approximately 100 student-athletes, alumni, staff and friends were in attendence. Guests were treated to outstanding presentations from guest speaker Vicky Clark '76 and keynote speaker Patricia Elam '76.

The event, founded in 2002, highlights the accomplishments of student-athletes of color at Adelphi University.

Adelphi President Robert A. Scott with keynote speaker, Patrica Elam Hall of Famer Keith Davis, Elam and Multicultural Alumni Chapter President, Grady Faulkner Hall of Famer and former women's basketball coach, Janet L. Ficke, with guest speaker Vicky Clark.
