Garden City, N.Y. - Junior Alvin Vivican III (Brentwood, N.Y.) and senior Mary Lepore (Manhasset, N.Y.) have been named Adelphi's Athletes of the Week for the week of February 18th.

Vivican helped the Panthers to a 1-1 week while posting a total of 31 points against New Haven and Mercy. He shot 50 percent from the field while making 7-8 from the foul line in the team's 66-50 win over New Haven.

Adelphi returns to action on Wednesday, February 20, when they visit the Knights of Queens College in ECC conference play. The game will begin at 7:30 pm.

Lepore had a solid showing this week as she was the high scorer in each contest. She scored 21 points against Mercy, shooting 5-10 from the three point line and 4-4 from the foul line. She also had 19 points and five rebounds against New Haven.

The Panthers return to action on Wednesday, February 20, as they take on the Queens College Knights in a conference match up. The game will begin at 5:30 pm at Queens College.
