Sept. 7, 2007 Garden City, N.Y. - Despite inclement weather the Third Annual Janet L. Ficke Golf Classic posted its most successful event to date. Heavy downpours made the golf course at Harbor Links unplayable, however that didn't stop the participants from enjoying the day. The festivities continued indoors with food, prizes, raffles and a presentation saluting over 100 years of Women's Basketball at Adelphi. The generous contributions brought in over $20,000 to benefit women's athletics at Adelphi!
