Garden City, NY - Gianna Smith (Hempstead, NY), Serita Lee (Freeport, NY) and Mary Lepore (Manhasset, NY) were named to the East Coast Conference (ECC) all-conference list announced by the conference office and voted on by the league's coaches for the 2007-2008 season. Smith shares this honor with Amanda Bartlett of Queens, Lauren Hood of New Haven, Takiyah Ingram of STAC and Shannon Malone of Bridgeport. Lee and Lepore share their spot with Sidney Parsons of Bridgeport, Delmare Reece of Mercy, Basimah Thompson of C.W. Post and Molly Tubridy of Dowling.

Smith was a first team selection after averaging 15.9 points per game, 7.6 boards and has accumulated 36 steals this season. Gianna is currently ranked fifth in scoring, eighth in rebounding and forth in field goal percentage in the ECC.

Lee earns her third team selection after averaging 10.8 points per game, 9.9 rebounds, and 55 steals. Serita is currently the ECC leader in offensive rebounds at 4.25 per game and is forth in rebounds.

Lepore gets the spot on the ECC third team after averaging 12.6 points, a team leading 57 steals and 5.9 boards. Lepore is 13th in scoring in the ECC this season.
