Garden City, N.Y. - Freshman Michelle Ceraso (Massapequa, N.Y.) and sophomore Caitlin Fitzpatrick (Port Washington, N.Y.) were recognized by the East Coast Conference with Rookie and Goalkeeper of the Week honors, respectively.

Ceraso tallied seven goals and one assist in an 18-9 season opening victory over Southern New Hampshire University. She followed up with a three goal, one assist effort against Assumption.

Fitzpatrick helped the Panthers to a 2-0 start to the season with 18 saves in 90:00 minutes for a 6.67 GAA.

Adelphi University returns to action on Sunday, March 16, as they host Mercyhurst College in its season home-opener at 12 noon.
