Adelphi alumnus Kim Campbell To Head Molloy Soccer Program

Rockville Centre, N.Y. - Director of Athletics, Susan Cassidy-Lyke, announced that Kim Campbell has been hired as the interim head women's soccer coach effective immediately. Campbell served as an assistant coach for the Molloy College women's soccer team for the past four years. Prior to Molloy, Campbell spent a year as a graduate assistant for her alma mater, Adelphi University.

Campbell graduated from Adelphi in 2002 with a bachelor of science degree in Physical Education. She went on to earn her master's degree in Sports Management in 2003. During her tenure at Adelphi, Campbell was a four year member of the women' soccer team and still holds the Adelphi school record for most points and goals in a season and is second on Adelphi's career scoring and points list. She was named the NYCAC Player of the Year in 2000 and was selected as the team captain in 2001. In addition she earned NYCAC First Team All-Conference honors and NSCAA All-Region honors in 1999, 2000 and 2001.

"I am very excited for the new opportunity that has been presented to me at Molloy College," said Campbell. "Last year the Molloy College women's soccer team had their best season in school history and I look to continue with a winning season this year."

Currently, Campbell lives in Massapequa and trains several travel teams on Long Island.
