Lisa Jusino, a 2001 graduate of Adelphi University, begins her fifth year as an assistant coach for Adelphi. Jusino was a four-year starter for Adelphi as a catcher/third baseman. She was named second-team All-Northeast and All-NYCAC as a freshman. As a junior, Jusino was voted team MVP and named a NFCA Academic All-American and selected to the NCAA Northeast Region All-Tournament Team. A team captain her senior year, Jusino was named first team All-Northeast Region, first team ECAC North All-Stars and first-team All-NYCAC. A two-time ECAC Division II North "Hitter of the Week" and a two-time NYCAC Player of the Week, Jusino was named team MVP and Adelphi's senior class Athlete of the Year. In 2004, Jusino became the co-director of the Panther Softball Camp. |
