Coach Smith says, "Seamster is a player with endless potential. She has the natural instincts and raw power that are needed in order to excel at the catching position. Caitlyn has also learned how to spray the ball in order to open up more gaps for extra base shots."

2008: Appeared in six games while starting in one...recorded her first collegiate hit in a 6-2 win over Limestone (3/15).

At John P. Stevens High School: Earned varsity letters in softball, basketball and volleyball...named to the all-star team as a senior.

Personal: Daughter of Bob and Erin Seamster...born March 22...has one sister, Meghan...an Education major.
